Turin and the music of the nightclubs and open-air dance halls. Buscaglione, early jazz, staying up till dawn. Criminality a bit made up, a bit real, and the factory down there, far away, in the background. The moon reflected in imaginary seas, the smoke of a thousand cigarettes, whisky and women of astounding curves, but only to talk about.
Jazz, Italian song and music that parody and laugh at themselves. And then there’s Fred Buscaglione who flutters about and brings together the various aspects, playing the role of the skeleton key, the opportunity, the starting point, the atmosphere.
